Conversations with the best professionals in the industry, incredible tips, beautiful inspiration, and amazing food…It was an amazing day!
This past Sunday, January 27th, Wedding Savvy Inc. hosted our third annual Wedding Savvy Summit at the beautiful The Westin Annapolis! The summit is an educational conference for engaged couples and their families where panels of experienced, highly referred and trusted vendors invited by Wedding Savvy are put on a panel to answer questions about wedding planning in general and specific to their area of expertise.
The day started out with our “Wedding Planning 101” session that came with a 27 page exclusive hand out with sample event budgets broken down into categories with photos to show the different budgeted events. We then kicked off the panels with “Get Photography & Videography Savvy” panel that was the highest rated as “most valuable” vendor session. Our trends panel with Style Editor Alyssa from the Knot was definitely a “hot topic” that ended with “you do you, girl!” Lastly, another very informative and highly rated session was “Day of Timeline Tips” with another exclusive multi page handout on how to craft your perfect timeline. Not only was all the content true and professional, it was unique to real life situations pros have encountered. Event Pro was the star of the day by doing a fantastic job designing the room for our event, as they do for every wedding! Event Pro is Wedding Savvy’s “go to” for amazing decor and design - they should be yours, too! Just look at the beautiful room!
The best part of the day was our conversation area where attendees could chat one on one with our hand selected, top rated wedding professionals. Once again, our engagement tables this year were highly rated by attendees. Wedding Professionals have a table where guests can sit down and ask questions of true professionals that are there to provide real, solid, thoughtful advice. The vibe is intimate, sincere, and helpful. We are so proud to host an event that allows future couples to seek information in a no-pressure format and allow them to feel comfortable and confident in all their wedding plans. Whether someone is planning a large and elaborate wedding or small and simple, everyone can benefit from hearing the best way to wear your hair to get great wedding photos, what ++ means, and ideas on how to (or how not) to incorporate trends into your wedding day.
Our panelists shared information about budgeting, vendor selection, guest list etiquette, photo lighting and angles, and countless dos and dont’s. After our panels, our professionals were available for one-on-one conversations with our lovely guests.
