So all the wedding planning is complete and now it’s time to enjoy the big day. Well, even if you still have some planning to do, use this as an opportunity to take a mental vacation and think instead about what comes after the big day: the honeymoon!

It may be 2016, but electronic save-the-dates continue to be a point of contention for many. In my experience, I’ve encountered a few couples who opt for email save-the-dates—sometimes it turns out just fine, sometimes the result is mixed.

We’re typically knee-deep in wedding gift bags at the height of wedding season so we’ve seen lots of options. In our experience, about 40 percent of couples choose to provide welcome bags. If most of the guests are from out of town or if it is a destination wedding, hotel bags are even more likely.
