Raquel Shutt is the owner of Wedding Savvy, Inc. Prior to starting Wedding Savvy, Raquel served as the Wedding Coordinator at a local hotel. During her time there, Raquel saw a need for a planner who was committed to serving the client’s needs with integrity, knowledge, passion, and kindness.

Raquel earned her MBA from Loyola College in 2004. She resides in Annapolis with her wonderful husband of seven years, Jeremy, and their three small boys: Michael, Perry, and Jeremy.

Raquel started Wedding Savvy in 2002 with those goals in mind. She is proud to work alongside her talented team, featured here.

We have since grown to a team of 6 coordinators and many wonderful associates and assistants. All Wedding Savvy team members embrace our mission statement:
